As a child I’ve always had the dream to unite people, by any means, and most of my friends will deem me a problem solver. I am BERNY SARFO and this is my dream for Africa.

LOVE FOR MUSIC

I remember the young me, holding my first guitar and learning the joy of music, like the blood running through my veins. Honestly, I felt like a demigod bringing something to life through melody.

The feeling was different, the joy was massive, and the edge to continue kept growing bigger and bigger.

Growing up, I have realized that through decades, the main source of connection has not been social media but football and music, and I choose music.

The music, they say, is a language all hearts and minds understand, and I, BERNY SARFO, stand to make music a major tool of connection that will unite the whole of Africa, and this gave birth to AFROFLEX.

AFROFLEX, born out of passion, love and intrinsic motivation, is a brand that came to me when I was in the sky; I mean, I was sitting on a plane to Ghana on June 25th for my uncle’s burial when I came up with the idea of doing something different, connecting the whole Africa through music.

When I arrived at my family home, I phoned my wife and told her about this brilliant idea.
I told my cousin and younger brother when we stepped out for drinks and dinner.

Upon my arrival back in the UK, I contacted my best friend Mo, known as Temaboy, about my new mission and straight away, he was on board to help me achieve my dream.

IDEA FOR THE NAME

AFROFLEX a simple term from the name AFRICA FLEX means to have Africa as a continent, boast or show off great skills through music that unites and bonds us, a language that speaks not only to the ears but to the heart that loves, the body that moves, the eyes that shed tears, the ears that listen and the mouth that sings.

Music is connected to every element of the body a language that needs no explanation.

AFROFLEX IS A MOTHER THAT UNITES HER CHILDREN (AFRICA) THROUGH MUSIC TO BECOME GREAT AND BUILD A FUTURE FILLED WITH LOVE AND UNITY.

Unity, Oneness and Love is the reason behind AFROFLEX. With this, the vision is to see the whole of Africa, unite through good music, and the mission is to support good music that hits hard and showcases love.

So long as the SPIRIT OF AFRICA LIVES, AFROFLEX will continue to unite Africa through good music. In every African blood, in every birth, in every soul, in every joy and every sadness, AFROFLEX will be heard.

HOSTING EVENTS

Hosting events is something I’ve always had a passion for, and with AFROFLEX, I have the opportunity to do this proudly.

I’ve had the opportunity to serve by hosting many events: Mansion party, outsiders day party, Last Vegas, Boozy Brunch and many more.

AfroFlex is here to Unite Africa through music entertainment with diverse artists from different backgrounds across the continent.

A dream has become a reality and a reality as we all see it will work for the better of all Africans.
